Khan Vs. Salita matchup as some sort of battle between Judaism and Islam? look at the poster on the main page of this website. It's sort of shocking.

Like Prince Naseem Hamed tagging "ISLAM" on the back of his trunks in the Barrera fight. Naseem said he was going to conquer the world and pave the way for Islam. Dedicated the Barrera fight to Islam.

His boxing jihad got crushed, didn't it.

I hate that they're turning this into a religious thing. If you ask either of the fighters they have great respect for each other and want to leave religion completely out of this.

how do you know that? if its a joke then my thread is somewhat pointless. if its not though, then "they" are the promoters, and "they" are stooping extremely low to sell tickets.

I know that becuase I know which ESB poster made it and the thread it was originally posted in when the fight was first rumoured.

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9528&page=12

Longcount's posts in that thread have been deleted, but people quoted them so you can still see them.

I think its a good idea actually to promote the fight with a religious aspect.

Jews and Muslims have spent centuries killing each other in war,

Why not take that sense of rivalry and transform into a sporting contest?

At least this way no one is blowing each other up.

Maybe - but considering Muslims ali, bhop, tyson, rahman, williams, eubank, mundine, ibragimov, chagev and many more whupped some serious ass in their time i dont think hameds loss means too much to Islam.

    Dont make such stupid comments

It's idiotic and a cheap way to punt a fight.
