Very good video pointing this out and we already know judah loves to low blow and clottey loves to headbutt.

Of course he is a dirty fighter at times. He's a seasoned vet now who is rugid when he needs to be. Not that I'm condoning dirty tatics, but this is boxing. Nard is dirty too, but he's a great fighter. Cotto is builiding a strong legacy and he's pretty intelligent in the ring. Tito was anther one who knew when to be dirty and when not to be. They are more clean than dirty IMHO and its the job of the refs to take care of illegal actions. let the fighters fight.

They were ruthless! But believe!!! I was watching when they played the game and you could see they had most of their teams a bit shook up before the game even started.

I agree. He fought dirty against Urkal, Zab, Clottey and others. When he's frustrated he tends to fight dirty.

lol, exactly. I think what margarito did was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more worse than 5 "dirty" things cotto does.

He retaliates on fighters who have a history of the same. If you are into low blows, don't get pissed if you get hit with a low blow.

Yea....Marg with loaded gloves was extreme! Although I still haven't seen the "compelling" evidence to say his gloves were loaded with plaster. It's either plaster of paris or not. You can't have certian ingrediants that make up plaster and say it's the same thing. I wish there was more evidence to support the case either way. I heard it was lotion which has certain ingrediants that are found in plaster of paris and from the transcripts of people who saw and felt the "blocks" during the case, they all said it wasn't hard like they expected it to be.

If Marg and his trainer did intentionally try to create his wraps to be "hard" then it really doesn't matter that is incredibly dangerous and a serious crime.

So if in "your" mind Cotto is a dirty fighter that must mean that also in your "mind" Bernard Hopkins is NOT dirty fighter uh?:huh

I'm the same way. I was not there to see what margarito had, just have to go by what the commission ruled. It's like when a baseball player gets suspended for steroids and we don't get much info but have to respect the ruling. Do i know if he used anything illegal against cotto or any other fighter? NO, but very strange that cotto is beating him through 6 rds and cotto's face has never looked that bad at end and he fought fights that were wars(torres, mosley) and yet after 6th rd his face looks like he got hit with a bunch of bricks. Mosley's face had no markings, yet cotto's face was destroyed. C'mon...please. We cannot prove it so we just need to see if cotto vs margarito 2 will end up with cotto's face the same. If it does, then it was all margarito, if not......hmmmmmmmm.

Cotto has some good skills and is a tough dude, the only thing I do not like about him is that he fights with exessive anger sometimes and he does resort to dirty tactics occasionally.

He does fight dirty at times and he also seems to get away with it more than others.
