I see this as a pretty bad style match up for Green.... plus I dont think Green has the sand to stand up to a Kessler offense. Thoughts?

I haven't seen it from Kessler in last few fights, last time I saw was against Calzaghe, he hasn't thrown the right uppercut with great effect, in fact I don't think he has thrown it.

Kessler will bob around behind the left jab followed by the straight right. If he hurts Green and sense's it, he will stop him.

kessler has to watch out he been cut in his last 2 bouts they could easly open again..if green lands a decent amount of jabs could cause problems for the viking warrior...all though i hope kessler wins the whole tornament!

Great point. Billy goat ward permently made kesseler prone to cuts. After the Froch fight kesseler's he had 1 nasty gash over his eye. I don'y really remember any huge power punches landed on him hat woulds result in such a cut.

Direll Vs kessler could he an interesting match-up

but Green if he loses against Ward might seek a KO against Kessler I mean what does he have to lose? The guy has two Championship fights in a row! Excellent tourney!

Yeah... Green has to get his ass kicked by Ward first. Kessler will have plenty of time to heal.

I like Kessler, he is willing to face anyone, anywhere, but he hasnt seemed the same since Calzaghe, or maybe Calzaghe has shown others the way. Its just Kessler used to be able to fight on the counter and throw combinations whilst staying on his toes, I havent seen to much of this of late, even when he beat Froch.
I would definately still favour Kessler though

Unfortunately Kessler is on the downside. 2-3 past it.

Alan 'out boxed by Edison Miranda' Green? He certainly has turned down plenty of good opponents but his actual resume is a desolate waste land. I really don't know what to expect from him against decent opposition.

when he fought Beyer he was up on his toes and very aggresive. In fact the fight the against Froch was perhaps the most aggresive I've seen him since.
