He fought Beyer before Andrade and Calzaghe.

On thread topic I would refrain from judging Green before the Ward fight. From what ittle i've seen of him I think Green has potential.

I think that Kessler is on the downside and I give Green an excellent chance provided he doesn't stop and stare at his shoes after every puch thrown! BTW, what the hell is up with that?

:rofl:rofl Hopefully Kessler can land an uppercut when he´s looking at the canvas!!

Kessler could be on the right track back from his loss against Ward..
He showed in the Froch fight that he still is hungry, but the Green fight will show us a lot more...I think Kessler has a good chance of winning it.
It was a wise move to leave his former trainer Richard Olsen, and replace him with Jimmi Montoya.
I still belive Mikkel Kessler has some years in him as a top SMW.

yes I know he did, I was pointing out to the poster that I haven't seen him as aggresive since then and up on his toes which the poster pointed out.

I didnt explain myself properley, I wasnt saying Kessler fights on the counter because in general he dosent, im saying he used to be able to do this well, like when he fought an aggressive come forward fighter like Andrade.
Yes Kessler was on his toes when he fought Beyer which was before Calzaghe beat him. Since then I dont think hes shown this as much and hasnt thrown combinations like he used to.
Against Froch he was aggressive, but I feel if he was fighting Froch in the same way he fought Andrade, on his toes throwing combinations he might have done a better job on him, Taylor was having an easier time against Froch throwing combinations as Froch is open to lots of shots.
All in all though Kessler has proven himself to be a good fighter

I respect the hell out of Kessler, more than all the other Euros in this competition, he took his loss from Ward like a man, didn't cry didn't say he was cheated, just said he was going to improve and be better, then he went and beat that lame ass Froch's ass. Good dude.

Saying that I think Allen Green KO's Kessler in 8. Kessler's defense is sloppy, his combinations are loose and not crisp and tight like they used to be, he was hit a great dead by Froch and I don't think he will handle those shots well if Green lands them on him.

Alan Green has never even beat a top 20 opponent.

Of course Kessler beats this fringe contender, probably with relative ease.
