Does anyone feel is posible that cotto's losses came from cheats?

First Hatton is Hatton, DLH in his prime would have knocked him out in 2 rounds too. Great fighter, but compared to elite ass whippers from back in the day to now he can't hang. Second, DLH lasted against Trinidad because Trinidad couldn't land on him. Yeah, Trinidad still hit as hard as he ever had but if you can't find the guy in front of you then it doesn't matter. The thing that's different with the Pac fight is DLH's age and the slowing down of his reflexes. He can't get out of the way of the shots and he can't let his hands go. It's just aging, it'll happen to Mayweather Jr. and Pacquaio too. Watch Leonard vs Camacho if you want to depress yourself as to the reality of the sport.

For the record Tito did land one shot on Hoya that seemed small but Hoya went flying across the ring.

he might have beaten manny if not for margo.i get yo point man but cotto has just been in alot of wars.even the fights he won he was in wars and i just think its taken an effect om him.

judah,mosley,clottey,margo,manny were all very very painful experiences for him not the mention the problems he had at 140 with the likes of torres and corely.**** is catchinig up to him if you ask me.

Margarito definitely had the plaster for the Cotto fight. If he wanted it for Mosley he would have definitely used it for the unbeaten warrior Cotto at the time.

 

Everybody is innocent until proven guilty. I hope the accusers and slanderers won't have karma in their back

 

Cotto's power at 147 is overrated to beign with.

No amount of steroids would make you increase your punch resistance, yet when he tagged Pac (who is not actually known to have china chin), he was able to take it.

Cotto's power is good at 140, yet he is actually too big to be at 140.

 

It would be very sad to think that Cotto....a great champion and humble man had his career cut short or had his chances at a more signifigant legacy diminished by cheats. I don't think PAC cheated......Marg....possible so I think Cotto lost due to being out classed and out fought. But in both he pretty much fought admirably.

Cotto just plain had his ass beat...even HE said that and didn't whine about foul play. When you get hit flush by as many punches to the head and body by such a big welterweight as Margo, then 99.9% of the time you're gonna get knocked out and will definitely get busted up. The one reason i don't think Margo loaded for Cotto is that the fight would have ended a few rounds before with how Tony was landing on him. You can't really site his face busting up because his face busted up in other fights like against Judah...and Judah landed far less than Margo. Plus nobody mentions the fact that there was no reported facial fractures(or lasting disfigurement) on Cotto's face like you would find with hardened/loaded wraps. Smashing someone in the face with a brick does that by nature.
Margo was what he always was that night and that was Cotto's undoing.

Pac....until proven otherwise from something other than armchair logic was just a machine who threw the punches from such undorthodox angles with such speed AND power that it was just too much for Cotto. Cotto was doing just fine until he got caught and then the mental scarring from the Margo fight very well just kicked in because he once again had a guy in front of him who would not be denied no matter what he was hit with.

Old fashion ass beatings folks. It's what boxing is all about and that's all there is to it. This brave wariior from Caguas, Puerto Rico took them like a man....like a true champion should. It's time we accept them like he did too....like any other beaten fighter does.
