too much credit? this fight was called a circus act and a mismatch with pac being the clear underdog. 90% of the boxing press and fans alike didn't give pac virtually any chance of winning.

pac shockingly does the unexpected and now, he's getting too much credit... :-(

Anyone who thought Mayweather vs De la Hoya was a legitimate SD is sadly mistaken. Oscar was schooled that night and the judge who scored it for Oscar was blind as hell, giving points to him for ineffective offense. Oscar was probably just as shot as he was in this fight, the difference is Pacman attacks and finishes off, Mayweather is a defensive genius and breaks down his opponents over long periods of time, doesn't attack as much especially at his highest weight class of 154.

But yea, Manny deserves huge respect for winning this fight, and in the manner he won it in. Utter domination.

Pacman wasn't supposed to last 5 rounds, and he made Oscar quit on his stool.

Now people are saying that he fought a shot version of Oscar and that anyone would have beaten him that night.

Manny deserves every bit of credit for taking down a man who is naturally 20 lbs heavier and gave Floyd Mayweather one of his toughest fights.

    Not me.

    Oh cmon, that's ridiculous.

Imo Pac shouldn't get the credit he would get if he had beaten i.e. Margarito, but still deserves much credit for beating Oscar THE WAY HE DID.

Of course. Oscar was nearly sixty years old. Jmm destroyed Pac twice, Morales once. Morales was 85 and 87 years old in their following fights. Barrera caught fire after coming out of a brain transplant during their first fight and had his 66th birthday shortly after the rematch. David Diaz? Not even in the Top 25 lightweights.

Like you wrote, it would have been easy work for any decent boxer. :dead

lets not forget that prior to the fight almost 9 out of 10 is choosing ODHL to win this fight and calling roach crazy and pushing PAC too far... Lets not take this great moments from PAC and how PAC surprise us every time he goes up to that ring with another arsenal behind him... Even I was a big PAC fan I never thought he could win that fight on that fashion but miraculously by SD maybe, yet he prove me wrong. All I want and pray for PAC is to give a good fight even if he was KO by ODLH but again he prove me wrong... so please dont be ****in biased to yourself...
Wait until PAC meets Hatton I hope he got some balls to fight PAC after he watched PAC demolished ODLH...

what do u mean the way he did. yes he dominated oscar but look at the facts from rd 1 to the end of the fight oscar didnt really move, didnt throw punches, didnt fight, u cant say that pacman took his will to fight oscar obviously threw the fight or his dramatic weight loss killed his body.

im not being biased its a great win but oscar beat his self just as much as pac beat oscar and everyone did call roach crazy but he trained oscar first hand so he knew those 9 out 0f 10 ppl choosing oscar wasnt in training camp like roach so he proved them wrong but the fact remains that pac won much props but for me he is getting to much credit just my opinion
