I was a Lamont fan, but I don't feel sorry for him at all. The guy knew he was cheating as did Margarito when he loaded his wraps. People really gave Margarito a hard time as they should have done so why not Lamont?!?!

Cheating is cheating, and it sucks.

People give way too much credence to

. Many boxers came from nothing. Guys like Pac and Pongsaklek really came from nothing in tough 3rd world countries where you get absolutely no help at all. I realise poverty is **** were ever you come from but in Asia and Africa poverty and lack of opputunituy is on a whole different level.

It's amazing how far boxing has brought a guy like Pac.

Maybe the local commission told him as long as he micro-dosed he wouldn't get caught. Seems to have all the rest of the home team on board from judges to ref to hatman correcting score cards.

He didn't know micro-dosing would get him caught under VADA because it worked before under a different protocol. Yeah, poor him.

There are protocols for beating the tests. He didn't realize VADA was not the same as OSDT procedures and got caught because of it is the most likely explanation.

why should I feel sorry for a guy who calls for testing, acts surprised at the positive result from a random test, claims he never took anything after the first test, and then remembers that he took testosterone pellets before the FIRST time he fought Khan? just "remembers"? No. Not sorry for him.

I don't feel sorry that he got caught. I feel sorry that he was dumb enough to throw away alot that was going well for him.

not at all. As it was he got the title on a hometown decision and bad ref job. Khan was going to win the rematch. It sort of hurts Khan the most because this is a fight he would have won.

I feel sorry when guys lose in the ring because anyone can lose in the ring and be knocked out, but when they lose outside the ring because of something they have control over like Lamont Peterson probably did, then I don't feel very sorry for him. He got all the breaks in that fight in Washington D.C. and won the title ref, location etc.
