Does anyone find it strange that GGG....

    did not hammer Fraudnelo's body? I believe Compubox had GGG only throwing eight punches to the body?

    Anyhow, I had GGG winning the fight easily. I believe he could have ended the fight with a KO much earlier if he had focused on the body.

    I had GGG winning rounds 1, 4-9, 11, and the 12th could have been an even round if you would like although I gave it to GGG.

    Canelo clearly won 2, 3, 10, and I can see people giving him the 12th if they want, but in no way did he get a draw and much less win the fight. Max Kellerman should have slapped the **** out of Fraudnelo when he said he won seven rounds with a straight face.

    Not surprised as head hunting has been a trend for him lately. I really feel like his earlier varied body attack was a big factor in his KO streak. I'm just not sure why he has abandoned it. It's clearly the biggest area for improvement for him in a rematch if they have one.

    yea I dunno why he doesn't go to the body anymore :( A ggg body attack was always his signature couple years ago. that macklin ko was a beauty

    Likes all around.

    Golovkin has one of the best body attacks in boxing; it's crazy for him to abandon his punch variety in order to headhunt. It's the one place where he really can load up a bit and apply that power. In the rematch he needs to hammer Canelo's body to slow him down, take away his legs and gas him late. Surely he can see this!

    No way would I give Canelo 10. 12 I would give him, just. The scoring was a farce.

    10 is a hard round to score because canelo came out guns blazing peppering him for about 30-40 seconds. but then he ran for the rest of the round while getting picked with jab lol.. I gave it to canelo on my card but I was being generous I had GGG up 6-3 going into that round.

    I think ggg couldn't get to Canelo body because he was avoiding the counter punches... same thing happened with Jacobs... if ggg could get to the body he would have put Canelo down... Canelo was going to the body the first 3 rounds then ggg switched his defense and neutralized Canelo body shots... after that Canelo had nothing...

    Isn't that the same stuff people said that Al Haymon told Canelo in the Mayweather fight? It's a money grab.

    Didn't expect anything different with cheezy smiling De La Hoya !


    I think GGG didn't go to body often because of Canelo's high shorts and compact trunk.
    When he did go to body Canelo twisted and got hit on back of belt line and he shamelessly complained to Ref of a kidney shot!!!

    The Fix was in from beginning with the altered weigh in time !


    What's wrong with Boxing ...?

    Promoters like Oscar !!!
    Commentators such as Max that want you to believe their "Spin" rather than what you just witnessed !!!

    Working the body would leave him open to Canelo's bodyshots/uppercuts. Why play into your opponents strengths when you can just jab the hell out of him.

    Cotto abandoned his signature body attack later in his career also.

    Don't really have an explanation other than what has already been said about the added risk of being countered
