I think early on Povetkin will have some success with getting a few combos in, but as the rounds go by Wlads going to take control, cut him and eventually TKO him. No one in today's HW division can outbox Wlad, its just not going to happen, only way to beat him is to catch him with a heavy shot, Povetkin can't produce that shot.

Well, Povetkin is big and strong, fast and durable. he can give klitschko bad moment, knock him down, but be outpoinyed 116-113.

Pressure for 12 rounds? He's been 12 only once and he looked tired. He also looks softer around the middle in every fight I see him.

Looked tired based upon what? He kept on attacking and throwing lots of punches. Byrd fight lasted 11 rounds, no signs of slowing down there. Same with Donald fight, no signs of slowing down in the 10th round. Name any other heavyweight today that has that kind of stamina?

I give him a chance albeit a small one. I hope Povetkin wins but I highly doubt it

Maybe if Povetkin had more experience against guys similar to Wlad, I'd give him more of a shot.

As it is right now, I don't think he's got much of a shot. He's still going to have a very very good career.

He LOOKED tired but he was still throwing 100 punches per round with the same snap.

I'll never forget Povetkin wheezing in his corner and looking borderline dead before coming out to throw 100 some odd punches against Fast Eddie.

Hmm...not much. I think he can win rounds but I question if this isn't too soon for him.

On the other hand, I predicted blisterly impressive KOs for Wlad in his last two fights, so who knows really?

He has some very slick combos, cant deny that. And just because he does not hit hard at the weight still does not mean that Haye can take those puches, this is something we do not know at this stage.

I'm giving him a shot and a serious one as well. The same thing was said about him being rushed when he joined in the IBF tournament yet came out victorious and now no one is giving him credit for it despite picking him to lose.

Povetkin's team know what they're doing, I'm pretty sure of it. In the end Povetkin has a lot of experience and if he wanted the easy way out he could have climbed in the ranking for the WBA or WBC, why target the best heavyweight out there if you don't have a certain plan in mind?, these guys know what they're doing and I'm pretty confident this won't be easy for Wladimir at all, even if Povetkin loses.

To me, this fight is very simple and depends entirely on Wlad's mindset. If Wlad takes this fight seriously and doesn't overlook Sasha, I see Wlad having a relatively easy time with the Russian fighter.

If Wlad is caught looking ahead at a potentially big fight with Niko Valuev, I can see the upset happening.

Povetkin is a work-horse...not someone to take lightly.

I think he's 2 or 3 fights away from being ready for Klitscho. They're rushiing this kid a bit.

Povetkin is nothing special. No power. Not much speed. Very raw. But a Big heart. I never understood the hype. I think Wlad will win easy.
