Is this someone who you'd really argue has the BEST chin in the sport?

Kessler hurt him too with that counter right hand. Froch's chin is alright, he's not exactly James Toney.

i just started reading this thread and i KNEW already it would degenerate into internet girls talking about punch resistance when half of you have never been hit themselves...

al i want to say is this - froch has a GREAT chin - if he didn't, he wouldn't have got this far because his skills are amateurish.

the man also has great character and heart.

abraham has possibly the best KO highlight reel in the last few years and i'm REALLY looking forward to seeing how good froch's chin is.

There's quite a few that does.

Guys like McCall, Abraham, Penalosa and Mosley to name a few active ones.

But Froch should be credited with having a really strong chin and a massive heart.

Nobody who gets put down from a bow-and-arrow right hand from a damaged version of Jermain Taylor can be said to have the best chin in boxing without a substantial body of evidence.

knockdowns like that are nothing if you get back up.
thats the only 'body of evidence' you need.

Yes. I have only see the guy fight 4 times and he has been hurt in 3 of those fights. Great recovery time though.
