good chin, not a great chin..at least not that I've seen. As mentioned he recovers really well. Out of the SMW division alone I'd put Andrade and Abraham above him.

Also, Kessler's chin seems rather underrated...has that guy been down?

Now I mean Ray pre 2000. Like in the late 80's and 90's. A tank wouldnt have KO'd him.

Well Taylor put him down with a sharp right hand

    So its not invincible

Look at Ricky Hatton - took huge shots off Kostya Tyuzu, tackie, Collazo but walked through, eventually it caught up with him and Pacquiao nailed him

Froch has a great chin, but its nothing to boast about. The art of boxing is to hit and not be hit

Ward and Gatti had great chins!

Today Clottey, V Klitchko, Hopkins have good chins too

Go have a word with them then because no one here has said he can't be KO'd in this thread. There is no man than can not be Ko'd so talk sense and shut your face.

Froch wasn't hurt by only Dirrell. He was rocked and then dropped by Taylor. He was hurt by Kessler. He also wasn't exactly hit with flush shots with a lot of frequency, he took good shots here and there. Dirrell was too busy moving and falling on the canvas to have a sustained attack.

Getting dropped or hurt in each of your last three fights against average-to-good punchers doesn't support an argument of having THE BEST CHIN IN BOXING.

Not the best in the sport but very very good.

You have to understand that Froch's defence is very bad (at world level), so for the amount of punches he takes and for him to have never been near KOd is impressive.

He seems to have that thing where sometimes he will look stunned but his head will clear straight away - like the Taylor knockdown, he was fine.
