Hi, I ordered a pair of Protex 3 sparring gloves from Everlast, and they arrived today. I was a little confused because the gloves look exactly like the picture on the website, but the mesh packaging says "Cp: 16 Protex 3 Bag Gloves". I just got off the phone with a guy from Everlast, and he told me that the gloves are both sparring gloves and bag gloves. Does that sound right? The gloves look and feel nice, but they're a quite hard. I know I'm going to get complaints from my sparring partners. This content is protected
Must be "training gloves" and if that's the case use them for sparring because they will wear down quickly on a bag. I've only heard of 1 person who had them and said they fell apart on him within 2 weeks
Yea, I once used bag gloves for sparring; needless to say, everyone hated it but me. The only guy I know who owns those uses them for the heavy bag. Try them in sparring first. If you get complaints, then switch them over for bag use. It's probably a mistake to do it the other way around.
Well, I don't want to use them if I've been sent bag gloves by accident; I'll want to return them without a hassle. To any Protex 3 SPARRING gloves owners: 1. did your gloves come in a package marked "bag gloves" (see above pic)? 2. did your gloves have these markings? Thank you! This content is protected
