Does anyone here think JC will be rattled the first few rounds in Las Vegas?

Just like JMM was in his title fight against MAB a year ago?

I don't think it's Vegas that's going to do it - it's going to be Hopkins that has him rattled.

Yeah, I can see Calzaghe being rattled early on, Hopkins is going to try and do that, upset Joe any way he can.

Yes but then he'll settle down and go to work. A bit like Hamed V Kelley but nothing like as dramatic.

I think it'll be really cagey. Calz feignts to dictate, Hopkins will do the same. They both wanna get the centre of the ring.

The question is - when (if at all) will Joe get into his flow?

It won't be Vegas if he gets rattled. I wouldn't be surprised if there are twice as many Calzaghe fans as Hopkins fans in the crowd. Hopkins isn't a fighter that many people love passionately, but there are a lot of folks out there who love to hate him.

You will know before the fight starts how Calzaghe will perform. If he is nice and relaxed and loose then he will go straight to work.Thats why I think Hopkins will try and rattle Calzaghe before the fight starts maybe at the weigh-in,just to try and get Calzaghe to burn some energy before the fight starts.

JC took 4 rounds or so to take control over kessler, I see it going the same way against hopkins, maybe a few more, but eventually JC will work hop out and win a UD. But then again this is boxing, and my record of predicting fights is not the greatest, but if HOP wins, I will give him huuuuuge respect, aslong as its a legit win!

It will take Calzaghe a few rounds to adjust to not being at home and Hopkins' style. I think he will look shaky at first.

Hopkins is going to do something in the first four rounds?

That's an interesting new direction for him.
