does anyone honestly doubt that technical skills have gotten worse in boxing?

If you fought seriously, on the mat or in the ring, and didn't get your ass kicked a few hundred times... then you didn't fight seriously. But of course I would definitely expect someone who posts like you to claim they were a fighter who never lost lol

It has to do with the fact that athletes across the board have advanced, in EVERY sport, and expecting Jack Kid Berg to be able to deal with Manny Pacquiao is about as intelligent as betting on Jesse Owens in a race with Tyson Gay.

jmm and em were notorious for their porous defense. de la hoya and trinidad were basic fighters who often relied on tools other than technical skills. rjj was not a technician in the least bit, where did that come from?

i've already mentioned hopkins and toney as great technicians. but why bring up toney? i'm referring specifically to this decade

yep, that's what JMM is known for, his porous defense. Where the **** do u people come from?

    JMM, the chin first fighter.

Bandeedo, the great street fighter and amateur boxer who never lost (although he's trained for yeeeaaaars and knows everything about it).

Bandeedo, do u have ANY idea how stupid and impossible your claim sounds to anyone who's ever participated in the sport?

you don't think JMM had a porous defense? those pacquiao fights wouldn't be the controversies they are now if JMM had a tidier footwork and solid upperbody movement

i do. why do you think your post saying how youve had your ass beat hundreds of times makes me laugh. the fights i was in werent friendly ass kickings. im not looking for fans like you or nallege so i dont come in here telling everyone how much ass ive kicked. those who matter know, and those who dont, dont matter.

yeah yeah I know.. you've been in 1000 street fights cuz ur a REAL gangster! And never even got TOUCHED. You got the reflexes of RJJ, the power of Tyson and the footwork of Ali. Of course you're gonna laugh at someone like me, who knows how it feels to get hit in the face a couple dozen times in the SAME fight, or who actually got triangled and choked out by a Gracie here and there while learning the art.

'Learning' is for chumps and pussies like me. REAL gangstas like you are just BORN knowing that ****!

No, boxalights. I do not think JMM had a porous defense. I think JMM is one of the most technically sound fighters I've seen in the last 20 years, and he's goddam hard to hit without getting countered to within an inch of your life. That's what I think.

Eder Jofre fought into the 70's, and I've already said that fighters from the mid 60's (and a few from before then) can be considered 'modern' fighters. That's the last ******ed question I'm going to answer. Next time make it a good one.

lol, maybe you just suck. i never fought any world beaters but fought plenty who wanted to end me right there. by the way, i think gangsters are pussies who need backup to feel like a man. unless you bang for business, then youre too soft to carry your own weight.
