    It's almost ridiculous isn't it?

Everytime someone's fighter loses, they always have to come up with excuses.

Whatever happened to the better man just being the better man?

In this case, Pacman happens to be an ATG. Cotto lost to an ATG.

will everyone just stop the excuses. Cotto himself never made any excuse to his defeats.

Cotto shoulda came in at 147 nd not worried 2 much bout da weight nd minus 2 million. Every pound north of 145 Cotto was docked a mill.

    Anyhow, great fight!!

cottos problem is his balance and his punching technique are just not the same...since he got rid of his uncle as his trainer he has been throwing arm punches instead of putting his body behind his punches and he's not turning at the waist hips and getting his legs into his hooks like he used to.

His balance is not as sharp either he used to be on balance at all times his last 2 fights he's been off balance while punching.

His punches are much wider then before he used to throw nice short tight punches in combination to body and head

Never said Pac was on roids, not hatin on Pac either and not making excuses... If anyone deserves to be the face of boxing, im happy if its Pac. But you also have to look beyond the fight itself. The fight starts as soon as you grab that pen and the negotiations are being discuss. It seems to me this is probably your first Cotto fight you witness. People should start knowing the whole boxing business, just because you look great physically doesnt mean you are your best. Cotto perform just like he did when he was at 140. Moved great and all, but was suffering deep inside. Go see his fights with Mosley, Judah, or even Margarito and you could clearly see the difference on how much better he was fighting at 147. His power and relentness attacking, and not to mention the amount punches absorb. This fight at 145 happend for a reason, lets not be blind. Cottos weight on fight night was not shown, shouldn't us as boxing fans be allow to question something like that??? Manny now has shown he could bang with the big boys. I would be greatly dissapointed if he made another fighter drop weight once again.:good
