I am interested in knowing facts on how they trained? i know that they was trained by the same trainer and had very similar training routines. Running in the mountains of mexico and i know that chavez would spar alot and would do 5 minute rounds with 45 seconds rest. But what about floorwork? conditioning exercises? as much info on there training as possible?

Chavez did a shitload of sparring. 10 rounds a day, 6 days a week.

Someone on here posted a very good interview with Emmanuel Steward that included a lot of talk about Chavez. He ate a watermelon every day to rehydrate and basically sparred more than any other exercise.

I know that Sanchez had a crazy low resting heart rate and could recuperate and get the heart rate low between rounds. He also had a personal physician and a major focus was on heart rate. A bit before his time in that regard I think.
