does anyone know if sky have a deal with golden boy promotions? sky showed mosley v vargas last year. they showed berto during last year. the marquez v diaz fight is golden boy (i think). so is the lightweight tournament and also williams v wrinky. would be good to know if sky have a deal or if they plan on using it. if sky showed some of the golden boy fights we would get to see nearly all of the fights we want to see.

its great that we can communicate with buncy on these forums for setanta. does anyone know if anyone from sky reads these forums?

what i was tring to find out is , who did sky have a deal with back when they showed boxing from the us a couple of years ago. and has this deal ran out. looks like it has. did they have a deal with showtime or hbo. and did they show top rank before setanta started showing it.

thats my point. if these fights are available on a fight by fight basis , its amazing we dont get to see the odd golden boy bill and some other shows apart from top rank.

its looking like we wont see marquez v diaz , the lightweight tourney and williams v winly live. i hope someone picks them up even if its delayed coverage like cotto this sunday.

Sky are not interested in any fight they cant charge extra for. They are a total disgrace and should leave boxing alone altogether they have 3 or 4 channels all showing football cricket and golf. The friday fight night shows are a token gesture and certainly dont make up for what they do to boxing fans. The Khan debacle is a classic example of how sky treats its boxing fans.
