Haven't heard anything yet, but I'm interested as well. . . This will basically give us a good idea of how popular Marquez is without any kind of name fighting him. . .

He had strong Mexican support on the undercard with Rios, and Alvarado as well. ..

I'd say Fedchenko is even a few leagues below CLottey in regards to "helping PPV buys". . .

My guess: 175-250k buys. . . I'd be surprised, and impressed if it passed 300k. Im sure anything over 100k will be considered a minor success.

It was reported that regardless of the buys we the fans do not get any cut of it.

It was a TR PPV so even if the numbers come out will you trust them?

But to answer the question I would say not more than 300K. I believe JMM did 250K in his Juan Diaz PPV. That was without Rios though.

Do bars showing PPV's, skew the numbers?

Yeah. . . But it was also the FOTY, so there was a lot of hype around the rematch (which turned out to be a disappointment). . . Lol can't blame Diaz from being hesistant, and unable to pull the trigger in the rematch, though. . . Marquez just has too much surgical precision.

From what I understand, that doesn't count towards the PPV buys. . It's treated as a separate "closed circuit" showing. . .

Same with the movie theatre screenings. . . The tickets sold to watch, don't count as a "ppv buy". . .

Not 100%, but I think that's how it works.

The rematch was on PPV with an attempted stacked card.
