    it was a "possible fight" article by the ring. it was around the time hopkins was stuck in oblivion a year post tito, while toney was just coming off a big win in jirov. nothing really concrete, but a lot of talk about why it should be made etc...

    have toney and jones never got on ? i know tony talked a lot of **** at the time of the fight but has he carried it on ?

    I know that Hopkins is quite complimentary about Jones now, dunno if Toney is though.

    But at least people see WHY B-Hop had to face welterweights and lightmiddleweights to get big money in Tito, Winky and DLH.

    Toney was beaten soundly enough to never talk **** again about Roy. I don't think he says anything negative about him.

    The exact same as Hagler did. Except Hopkins then moved up 2 weight divisions and fought the linear light-heavyweight champion, he probably got good money for that one too.
