just after the fight was called , doherty jumped into the ring and started having a go at some1 in kells corner. might of even been kell. he had to be stopped by security. i was just wondering what fired him up. plus tony doherty looked well fat. a bit of hatton syndrome. to much guiness and pies.
yeah mate. always lurked on it but been using it a bit more lately seeing as the joe 1 has gone a bit ****!
What a twat, he should show some respect. Wasnt so long ago Mcintrye handed him his ass before he was cruelly stripped of the title. Credit to kell Brook though for saying he wants to defend against Kevin McIntyre first as he believes the scotsman is still the real champ. Well done Kell, lets just hope he keeps to his word. It still irks me what Warren & Block did to the Paisley Postman.
oooo controversial, personally i think kell would hand him his ass. think he has looked very ordinary of late.
In shape Doherty will muller him... he was a better amateur and still has a better CV as a pro. That was no British title fight in terms of quality. It was two thoroughly protected up and comers making a name off each other. Who has either beaten of note in their careers? This fight was just as manufactured as the ridiculous Woolcombe-Portman fight. Not been disrespectful to either set of participants but winning the British title used to have some historical significance- these days it seems to be yet another promoter manipulated sales tool. Kell is a talent and looks to be going places but you can add him to an ever growing list of undeserving champions.
I've trained with Tony he's a lot better then people realise. He's got world championship potential and tbh I'd confidently pick a fired up doherty to beat Brook.
