Does anyone know why Dmitry Bivol has been suspended...

    Wasn't Bivol cut by a butt, they medically suspend for that based on the severity of the cut the suspension could be long or short.

    Definitely not only if KO'd. Even a knockdown or a cut will suffice for them.

    I think in this case what "suspended" must mean is that the fighter cannot fight in New York state for a given period of time since they have just fought and must not fight again until a certain amount of time has passed so as not to endanger a fighter. This must assure that a fighter gets the necessary time to recover.
