Does anyone NOT believe that Chavez was a better fighter than DLH ?

Better boxing: JCC knew how to box. He chose not to since he went in there to kick some ass instead of slapping and running all around the ring to avoid getting hit.

Defensive fighter: Underrated defensive fighter. Watch Rosario fight or Mayweather II fight. Slipped, ducked, parried shots, and all this without running halfway across the ring from his opponent.

Speed: ODLH was faster.

Prime for prime I would pick JCC over ODLH anyday of the week up until 147 where I would have it 50-50.

 

There are a TON of JCC haters on this board, for whatever reason.

Hoya is the better and greater fighter without the need of fighting 88 Tijuana nurses to make his record look "elite", Hoya just straight out fought the best fighters available, he made a CAREER fighting great fighters. Even as an amateur DLH is a successful Gold medalist.

De La Hoya already fought Chavez and sliced his face to pieces, Chavez and his fans are just bitter jealous sore losers even though they KNOW Chavez was the favorite going in the fight. DLH was also greatful enough to give him a rematch even though he didn't have to after the one-sided massacre only to slice his face to a million pieces and beat him even longer. Chavez has been bitter since then and till this day shows jealousy because Oscar is far richer and more successful than both he and his son will ever dream of being.

 

Running all over the ring?, that's called movement and that's what brings Gold Medalists in the olympics. That's also something one-dimensional trash like Chavez know nothing about and when they get their asses handed to them they're automatically "shot".

 

Delahoya fought better opponents and beat better opponents in his career than chavez did in 100 plus fights.

What would someone who considers a fraud trash like JCC know about movement and skills in boxing?

Standing there with **** poor defense wide open is not gladiator-like if you know anything about the sport which is why JCC and the likes of him are failures in the amateurs and need over 80 fights against cabdrivers and nurses to start stepping up and losing.
