I would make another trivia question for fitz, but at this point, I doubt he'll respond.

Pacquiao always willing for JMM rematch, Jmm ducks it. You already knew it. It's already in the history books. Hagler waits for SRL for a Long time. Pryor was crying for a fight. SRL didn't give it.

What had Pryor done at the time he was calling out Leonard?

It's one of boxing's greatest myths that Leonard ducked Pryor. The guy fought Duran three times, Hearns twice, Hagler, and Benitez and yet he ducked Aaron Pryor? Now I'm not saying Pryor was on their level as one of the greats, because I think he was in a H2H type sense, but at the time he was calling out Leonard, he hadn't done much.

JMM wanted more money than what was offered. Pacquiao could have given it to him if he really wanted the fight that badly. Everyone "has their reasons". You just readily accept Pacquiao's as being ok, and not others.

Pryor was never in SRL's weight class and at the time, not relevant. I mean, if thats your position, we can open that can of worms about how Pacquiao won't fight Guzman. But lets not. It bores me.

I was there at the fight live at Primm Nevada.

Gamboa vs Guzman would make my head spin.

I'm a pac fan and I'd steer clear of either of the two in the immediate and far future. As for pacfans jumping on the Scamboa express after that flash knockdown, you guys need to chill on the up and comers.

So then clear something up for me.

From what I saw, Gamboa was not hurt by that KD at all, simply caught on the side of the head while in an awkward position. Was he ever hurt in the fight by your estimation?

hell no. flash knockdown. He was hurt by a couple of punches by his opponent. For every 2 hard punches thrown by his opponent, Gamboa would come back with a hundred to which only about 5 landed:yep

I've only heard of Gamboa on this board and I kinda knew what to expect. But to see it live is a thing of beauty

I am f'n tired. 25 minute drive out to Primm and I'm wondering why the hell is Snoop dogg headlinin' an event way out there. He either pissed off the wrong people or he ain't wanted in Vegas

I also had upper seats and I don't have nearly perfect 20/20 so I couldn't tell facial wise if he was really hurt like some on this thread were insinuating.

All the fights except for 2 all had a knockdown or ended in KO this weekend. F'n awesome if you live in Vegas and are a fan of the sweet science.

what the hell? if during their time you can view their fights via HD or Blu Ray you would've said 'damn, who can beat these guys?' then you look at pacquiao's skill set and realize they are leagues above him.
