I think Gamboa has to lose a lot of his bad habits. If he was all he has been built up as, he would not have had to go ten last night. He is physically gifted, no doubt, but he has **** poor technique, and an opponent with hand speed and just above average pop will put him on ***** street.
Pac don't win by skills alone. Most of Pac;s victims has more skills than him. Does it matter after Pac's KOes them??? Pac's combination of Power, speed, relentlessness & stamina were unmatch in his weight class. I recorded SRL Ringside from ESPN Classics on DVD. and I watched it multiple times. If Pac's a little bigger, He'll beat them all.
:-( He has one real bad habit. Nothing more honestly (tho could improve in other areas as well....rolling with punches for one). AND HE IS IN HIS 10th PRO FIGHT!!!! As for allowing the fight to go 10....Jimenez is a good veteren fighter who has never EVER been stopped...and contrary to what you think has above average pop. No idea where people are getting that this guy cant punch??? I mean, he is no Tyson, but damn people...he aint Calderon either. Also one major factor people are forgetting about is....Gamboa has fought good comp (really good when you factor in his limited amt of fights...his opponents combined record is something like 160-30) all within the span of about 13 months. Basically taking a shade over a month to prepare for each fight. Imagine how much better he is going to be when he is going to have a real training camp (4-6 months...extensive video on the opponent...more in depth training methods...etc.)!!!! You guys are really trying to rush this kid...I know he is 26 (not a baby in the ring...but not exactly Bernard Hopkins as well) and I am aware of his LONG amateur pedigree...but never underestimate how much a training camp truely means as opposed to just "training".
