On the one hand, you want to write off this kind of thread as ridiculous nonsense, but then again a year ago the same was said of JuanMa Lopez taking on PDL any time soon. :nut
Not quick with his reflexes?:huh Go ahead and say he has defensive holes, gets too careless, and would get KO'd by Pacquiao, but don't say he doesn't have good reflexes. That's ridiculous.
Pac was not appreciated here for his defensive move. How come Pac makes a top 5 P4P in MAB to miss him a lot???? Pac defensive style is by using head movements combined with his quick feet. Check those Maxbox Sparring videos on just how he toys with his sparmates. Pac's defense is not the best but his Headmovements is one of the best. I always like Linares. He's the closest to JMM's skill set but with power.
I get the same feeling as well. Even against guys like this where he thoroughly outclasses his opponent [yt]028QFIBhCWw[/yt] He is getting hit too much when getting his own shots on. He is really going to have to make some massive adjustments. The biggest flaw i see in Gamboa is that he tries to just come in winging power shots without setting anything up. I think he could potentially adjust, but it will be tough, and it will require much more ring time first.
Only in your opinion and I could give a **** less about what you think ... you have yet to say something relative to boxing that would give you cred in my book. You don't know **** and you can't come up with your own opinion ... I shut you down so many times it makes no sense ... to the point where your only response was something negative along with name calling ... that really proves your knowledge buddy. outside of Pernell Whitaker ... what do you know? Nothin ...
I would still like to see Gamboa v Pac ... even though with this kinda performance .... I don't think Pac would even give it a thought !!
Anything can happen; let us remind ourselves.Pac was KO'ED early in his career. With that said, I think right now. I would give Gamboa a good chance, if he doesn't get flustered. He has to be a bit more cautious, defend. He has the ability to trouble Pac.There have been countless amount of boxers who've been dropped, Cotto and Barrera to name a few. They turned out alright..
No, that would be every poster's opinion, as is shown by the fact that when you make a decent post for a change, someone will say something like "That's the only time I'll agree with you" or something to that effect. You've lost every single debate you've had with not only me, but any other credible poster, and most non credible posters. You're a joke, just like your bar room brawler lover boy Valero. Talk about a guy who will be exposed against any top level fighter. [yt]YAZregpxgAQ[/yt] You're done Fitz, just sign out. And try to forget your password.
I have been thinking tonight about his defensive issues and also about his upbringing in Cuba. Seems that his talent was so very great that his coaches didn't plug these, or maybe they did and he didn't listen.
On my off days here, I have the Chance to watch again SRL, Hearns & Duran. After that I appreiate Pac now more than ever. Pac's will be there at top 10 ATGs when he retires. Hatton, all Challenger at 135 will have no chance. The closest one to come with Pac will be JMM & PBF.
