Does anyone NOT want to see Mayweather vs Pacqiao?

I respectfully disagree. Floyd has trouble with guys who are fast and present pressue. Manny is both but he implements intelligent pressue whch will cause Floyd some troubles early on. As everyone knows floyd can adjust and WILL NEED to do so in order to pull out this "W". And I think he can, but it will not be easy. Manny and PAUL W have the best chances at this point to beat Floyd...moreso Paul W due to his physical attributes...but PAC has the same kind of god given gifts and talent to give Floyd trouble.

 

Everyone keeps talking **** about how Pac "beat DLH and Hatton better than PBF did", so a PBF-Pac match will silence the critics.

Plus if Pac beats Cotto, then he certainly is a legit welter at that point and any arguments over weight or Pac being too small for PBF yet big enough to defeat Cotto would be pointless.

 

Cotto came in at 146 to fight Clottey in a WW fight..the fight will be held at 145. You think 1lb is gonna make a blinding bit of diffference?

And they are fighting at WW...read the rules on weight classes.

 

Clottey is a difficult fight for anyone. I think he would beat Pac and is a very hard fight for Pac based on styles but that fight will never happen. PBF could probably pot shot him from the outside to win a fairly easy UD but Clottey would be a hard fight for Mosley or anyone else and if he keeps that jab up and throws more could be a hard fight for PBF. There isnt anyone from 147 that could knock him out.

 

Word, I agree to the fullest. I'd like to see Pac and Little Floyd. I think that will be a hell of a fight. I think Floyd takes it but it wont be easy.

 

I would rather like to see Mosley-Maywather.

However, I don't think Pac is too small for Mayweather. Pac may be too small for Cotto. If Pac gets by Cotto, he will definitely qualify for a mayweather matchup.However, I think Cotto will win this one.

 

I don't think Mayweather would ever fight Clottey.

nonsense. Pacquiao is punching above his weight with Cotto. If he beats him its because Pacquiao is a great fighter, not because he suddenly became a full blown Welterweight.

 

My thoughts more or less, I know this would be a huge match but at the end of the day its just Mayweather vs another smaller man.

Mayweather needs one more tuneup.

So, fight Pacquiao next for his tuneup, and then fight Mosley.
