It was a Majority Decision. Judges had it 8-4, 9-3, 6-6. Do those scores suggest Mayweather won in a landslide? I scored it for Mayweather in close but clear fashion. First 6 rounds were razor tight, Mayweather had a big 7th, back and forth after that with Mayweather winning more close rounds enough to eek out the decision. But according to you, I must have it all wrong huh, it was really just a total domination by Mayweather, and the catchweight had no impact on the fight whatsoever.

And all those times Mayweather bit on Canelo feints, and kept pulling back at air, that somehow wasn't Mayweather being terrified of Canelo, that was just all part of the schooling huh.

Saying nobody but haters thought the Lara and second GGG decisions were disputable is the height of delusion and an utter ****ing cope.

Yes, it was a total domination and the catch weight had no impact on the fight whatsoever. Alvarez couldn’t hit Mayweather with a fistful of rice if he threw it at him. lol Shame on Mayweather for biting on Alvarez’s feints and not standing there and let Alvarez hit him. Hit and not get hit is how the sport is played. Alvarez got schooled in any reasonable assessment of that fight.

Informative post. That attitude is not unique to Mexico.

Correct, except for that he was NOT competing for the IBF title. That was Jacobs' sneaky trump card. The IBF saw that in addition to fighters putting their champion at a disadvantage, they would also not be getting sanctioning fees etc from the other challenger, nor the new champion, assuming their guy lost.

    Let re rephrase it.

Anyone who says Lara was robbed against Canelo is not only a hater, but delusional as well.

I was rooting for Lara, but he ran in the championship rounds.

He started backpedaling since round four, and it progressively got worse by the round.

What about Barrera losing to Jr Jones twice one by stoppage and going live and death with Juarez and robbing Morales in the rematch?? Marquez getting whoop by guy's like Norwood and Chris John, Morales robbing Barrera in the first fight??

He's got a fine record, and I don't doubt his ability.

There's some work to do though if he wants to make the all-time podium. I've a sneaky suspicion his biggest fans aren't too familiar with the careers of Olivares, Sanchez & Chavez.

Floyd shut a green and drained Canelo out. But a prime Clenelo would stop Floyd inside 6. Fight could never happen though as Clenelo's prime is really middleweight and above.
