It's not unbelievable after seeing the amount of bruising Cotto sustained, then seeing that hardened wrap after the match with a crack around the knuckle, then in his very next match being caught with illegal wraps vs Mosley and having to re-wrap. Then getting suspended by the CSAC then every commision in the country.

So what if someone did notice Tony's wrap when he was walking around shaking hands. Then what was it? That isn't the least bit suspicious to you? Since when do handwraps split and crack at the knuckle during combat. A handwrap would have to be hardened to break in such a way. They're supposed to be soft to protect the hands. You could have Mike Tyson power and it would never split up or have a hole around the knuckle like that. The only way it splits open and causes such a perforation is if it was hardened with a foreign substance thus causing it to break on impact.

 

By use of the term agricultural the pun is he is not blessed with sophisticated boxing skills of an elite fighter and that his skills level is basic/poor in comparison to elite fighters. This probably explains why he needed to cheat with loaded gloves.
