Yes he has a chance. Better hand speed and a nasty left hook. Haney doesn’t seem so solid in the chin area.

 

He's got a punchers chance, Linares was able to clip Haney with a right hand that had him shook up, Garcia is quicker, younger and has more punching power than Linares so it's definitely a possibility. Smart Money is on A Haney UD though.

Garcia lacks heart and focus. Haney should win this easily

 

Haney needed corrupt judges to beat 35 year old he dwarfed, can't punch at all and has been hurt by lesser punchers than Garcia. If Garcia wasn't coming off a bad loss and wasn't losing his mind he would be a very live dog here. Much crazier things have happened in boxing.

Haney hits hard enough to discourage Garcia who I think lacks the fire. Haney is a terrific boxer, he’s gonna shut Garcia down

I'd have Garcia as the underdog but +550 and above scream recency bias, with Garcia's first loss and Haney having his biggest career win.

 

I think the schizo **** is just an act to get eyes on the fight. I think he, or at least his handlers, know that he's lost a lot of popularity and good will from fight fans, and Huggin' Haney can't sell a fight to save his life.
Idk what they were thinking by having this fight in New York. Garcia mostly pulls zoomer Californians and no sabo Mexicans, which I imagine are in short supply in NY, and Haney literally has no fans at all. This fight was doomed from the start.
Hopefully it destroys both their careers, and we never have to see either again.

 

Garcia lacks the punch variety and accuracy. I also think his defense is totally lacking. Ryan has a punchers chance with his left hook but he’s outclassed everywhere else
