Does anyone really consider Dubois a world champion?

Seems like a nice guy but he lost recently and can't fill a small venue.
There are too many belts especially in the WBA.

Not a champion but a contender.

He's a very good young heavyweight contender, but the WBA "world" belt means little or nothing.

Obviously not, and he is not that great of a contender, even.

Well, people who thinks that Tank is the champion, should be thinking same about DD

Dubois will always be what he is now which is a stiff and very limited fighter with a big punch.

He will never be anything outside of a good solid test for up and coming heavyweights looking to make a name for themselves.

No, he's a "Tank" level champion at HW.

He can make a claim because he has a belt, but he's not seen as a legitimate champion in the division.

I guess, I like him and hope he do well, but… when they said they wanted their next fight to be in UK and the first fighter they brought up was a guy that just got KO’d (Whyte) and it was no mention about a rematch with Joyce to avenge his lose I lost a little respect…

I like how dubious comes to fight at least. I bet the sparring with povetkin was a bit tasty.

I’d like to see him fight either kabayal or the pulev/Chisora winner next

No. Dubois is a domestic level fighter currently with fringe contender talent ceiling.

Needs to be fighting on Showtime. They will refer to him as the WBA champ & won't mention the other guys who hold the belts.

They might even arrange for Madonna to attend one of his fights which would make it official.

Should start defending the belt in New York where he can pretend the rest of the world doesn't exist.
