Does anyone really consider Dubois a world champion?

    Everybody in boxing doesn't need a participation trophy.
    That said, I like Dubois, I just don't think he's earned a belt. Neither did Stiverne etc........

    Let's not get fooled by words. The WBA may say world champion but he isn't even their top ranked heavyweight. That would be Oleksandr Usyk, the "Super Champion" The title is a sanctioning fee money grab and nothing more. Daniel Dubois is NOT a world champion.

    Dubois is very heavy handed and has a decent jab, he is young and I'd consider him top 20 but his ceiling is probably fringe top 10 at best.

    Nope. He'll probably pick up an easy world title against some ranked nobody when the belts are eventually dispersed.
