Does anyone really wanna see a former 400 pound addict, with a boring style, back in the ring? Fury

If Fury does not come back it’s going to leave a question mark over the next unified champion, nobody wants that.

 

Fury's fights are ultra boring and he's not a draw.

 

He has talent, even if I dislike him and find his style boring. If he can come back to any semblance of form of course any boxing fan should want him back, especially with a talent pool as shallow as we have at heavyweight.

 

Do we want to see a Sumo wrestler try boxing?

I want to see what he has left of course. Who doesn't?

before he fights wilder or AJ I'd like to see him in a tune up against a top 5 HW

 

Fury only really acquired the 'boring' tag in his last three fights, which he won without extending himself, showcasing just one facet of a versatile fight game.

A fully functional Fury is a vital part of this HW mix. If he can get back to where he was (or close to it), his defining showings are still to come. The fights with Joshua and Wilder will deliver suspense and excitement — they will not pass without cumbustion and drama to viscerally engage the viewer.

 

It's morbid curiosity. Does he have anything left? Can he recapture his past form?

He also has a colorful personality and is the lineal champ, so there's that too...even if he's about as exciting as paint drying inside the ring.

 

I do. Skill wise he is the best in the heavyweight division. He makes the heavyweight division interesting partly because of how he’s had to step away due to his problems outside the ring. No one has beaten him inside of it so there are questions as to who the man really is. I think he can beat Joshua and Wilder, but we won’t know for sure unless he faces them

 

The groundswell of support for Tyson Fury to come back has been enormous.

Hearn has acknowledged numerous times how big a fight Joshua-Fury would be.

 

I would like to see anyone who can compete at the top level be active. Really no reason not to unless you think they're going to beat somebody you have an unnatural emotional attachment to.

 

He’s a character and it’s good for boxing however you want to cut. I personally think he’s done and it’s pointless but he’s a vital piece of the hw division.
