I remember when both these guys had there pro debuet and people would talk about them meeting down the line someday. Couldn't help but think and wonder what Bojado is thinking right now.

Around the time, the majority seemed to favor Bojado as having the better future than Cotto.

    Ha lololol!

I was high on panchito.....quick hands, well schooled, good power, movement and tons of talent. His chin was quite solid too his issue was obviously his mental focus and lack of discipline when facing a fighter that won't just bendover for him because he was this highly touted prospect.

I remember that too. Bojado and Cotto were being talked about having a potential super fight and Bojado being the next "chavez" more highly regarded than Cotto based on a amature fight they had. Juan Diaz was also considered the least likely to do anything. Well Rocky Juarez was what most thought he would be though.

Panchito "APPEARED" to be the real deal but I don't know what the f*ck happened.

Panchito even beat Cotto in the amateurs...

I remember Cotto being destined to move up and have his boggest fights at 147 while Bojado was a small 140.

Bojado would have grown to be a 147 pounder. Bojado is 5 ft 7 or 5 ft8 and i've seen him face to face and he looks as if he could ve done 147.

I remember all the Panchito Bojado, Ricky Williams, and Miguel Cotto arguments back in the good ol' days of ESB. I wonder what Jaydawg was thinking with his hyping of Williams.

he's closer to 5'6" and fought several times under 135. . . he never had to torture himself to make 140 like Cotto did.

Well, Mohamad Abdulaev also beat Cotto as amateurs and you saw what happened as pros. I think Ivan Calderon beat Cotto too. But then Cotto grew up.
