Does anyone seriously see Dawson going to Cardiff and beating Calzaghe?

    honestly, Dawson would stop him...

he has every single attribute advantage aside from experience and work rate (and that alone cant stop him),

not too mention his height, size, reach, and age advantage

i honestly think Dawson would stop him...and if he didn't he'd probably win 8-4 at the worst

for the people who think Calzaghe would blow him out....i'd really like for them to explain why, because analytically it doesn't make any type of sense

but whatever, i hope everyone thinks like that and if the fight was to actually happen i'd definitely clean up

Dawson is a beast - but I don't see this fight ever happening.

If it ever did - I would take Dawson over Calzaghe.

It could happen although in Joe's back yard the chips are stacked well against him. However....Joe is the Champ and he's earned the right to dictate where the fight is. Chad will just have to take his game to anther level to dethrown Joe. Chad has all the tools, but does he have the champions spirit and heart to overcome adversity and to take his preformance to anther level like so many of the greats are known to do. If he can't then he'll just be anther Americn Title holder who had all the talent in the world but not that something special that seperates "greats" from the "very goods".

Dawson is good, very good actually.

But not in the class of Calzaghe or Kessler, IMO anyway.

think about it... Dawson's best bet is a UD over Calzaghe, but he would have to do it on Calzaghe's home turf. Prognosis ... unlikely.

I don't see him doing it, not in Wales at least, which is where it should happen, if at all.

Isnt this just typical fans from overseas vs. fans from the US blabbing their mouths away in an attempt to justify how their fighter is nearly unstoppable. Joe is certified and at the moment one of the best fighters this era has seen but to write off Dawson as another easy win for Joe is absolutley ludicrous. I agree Americans can be a bit pigheaded but those of you representing Joe are boarderline insane thinking he would simply wipe the floor with Dawson! Dawson is explosive, young, strong, confident and extremely determined. Frustration only adds to his focus, his skill set and offensive aresenal are tremendous he like Joe has the unique ability to cause any fighter to pause and re-group. What blasphamous bull is being spewed out of some of your mouths, comparing Dawson to Jeff Lacy....are you kidding me....two totally different fighters in almost every aspect of the game. Some may wonder why Joe is hated so much....well we must first look at Joe's absurd fans....I'm not talking about the level headed ones just the ones that preach as if he is God. Next thing you know they'll be saying he would have toyed with Micheal Spinx and slapped Archie Moore into submission  come one guys Joe is going down as a hall of famer maybe even a legend due to his status overseas but lets be real with eachother and work on putting these fighters in perspective.
