Does anyone seriously want to see Vitali fight Adamek?

I hate the idea that I can no longer say that Vitali is ducking Adamek.

Luckily for me, this means by default that he must be ducking every other non-Adamek heavyweight fighter in existence.

Adamek sadly has a awful style to watch. I could see a lot of fans being turned away, from the heavyweight division if he wins a title. He spoils fights by the manner in which he wins. I don't like to see top heavyweights scraping victories by outworking opponents because their fat and out of shape. He reminds me of a smaller, and more negative version of Chagaev. I think he will lose against Vitali, but will win a title once the older brother leaves, or if Wlads vacates a title...

It would be nice if Adamek could pull off the upset but I see no chance. None.

Should be a good fight, at least top Heavyweights are fighting each other.

Vitali needs legacy wins and this will be one. I want Vitali to get the name on his record and Adamek to make some money. I don't expect a great fight but it should be a pretty decent event in Poland

  7. Well Vitali only fights people who he knows he can beat. Either over the hill fighters like Shannon Briggs or people who arent true heavyweights to began with.

What the **** are you smoking, Adamek is just about the most stylistically pleasing HW out there right now, he presses the action better than anyone else near the top 10. His style is absolutely nothing like Chagaev, it makes me wonder if you've seen either of them fight.

Agree to the extent that i'd say vitaly has to be like a 9:1 favorite and given Vit's age I'd rather see his few remaining fights with someone with a better chance (no disrespect to Adamek who has put in some nice work at hw). BUT, who is there? I think helenius has the raw tools and size to be a better challenger but hard to insert him now. Haye's locked up. So who?? (Adamek is a step or two up from kingpin and prolly briggs too...)So I guess the Adamek fight is necessary. Vitaly could get old overnight and the tenacious Adamek could surprise, who knows. At the least Adamek will be pushed back in line and Vitaly will be on to the next hopefully better challenger.

I think Vitali will have a very easy night with Adamek but tell me all the other better options then? Adamek is the best fighter available.

No, but plenty of Poles and Eastern Euros seem to give a care....and endemic is getting a big payday ....its happening, but the general box fan gives a rats ass

Adamek will receive a whipping of his life, and possibly career heavyweight goes rapidly down. Vitali is just too big for him and hard

Its not the fight I would want to see, but its the fight that is there before him. I'd much rather see Vitali fight a younger Povetkin who I think would be a stiffer test, but now that Povetkin is being protected by Atlas that fight isn't there. Nobody at the moment in the lower half of the rankings in the top ten would be much better than Adamek, so right now its the best fight that can be made. If Haye and Adamek lose I would love to see them get it on for another chance at one of the brothers, I think that fight should have happened first anyways, but thats a pipe dream because boxing just doesn't work that way. Vitali by stoppage mid rounds.
