Hmmmm....interesting. I guess for some fight fans a good, violent exchange isn't as appealing as it is for most fight fans. I appreciate the brutality just as much as the skill of th3 combatants.

    at 154???....this is stupid.

cherrypicking in boxing term is when a fighter fight the lesser threat available in his weight range.

sergio and 154 is/was not in pac's weight range.

straying from the topic and bringing up floyd

this is nothing but a showcase fight for manny, it does nothing for his career.

margo was the toughest option within his (pac) weight range at that time.

before the margo fight, he claimed that he will fight anybody at 150. after the margo, pac dropped the belt and said that he's not going to fight past 147 again.

back to our discussion where you claimed pac should have fought sergio and canelo instead of shane or margo.....that was clearly not possible.

based on the definition of cherrypicking in terms of boxing, margo and even shane don't fit.

I only brought up Floyd because Manny draws like Floyd whenever he fights.....even if the comp isn't really much in terms of actual competition. I figured you'd have an easier time understanding the parallels if I tied in your man.:rofl

I agree it doesn't do anything for his career. .....just like Robert didn't do anything for Floyds career. Well. .....both Pac and Floyd will get paid for doing what their careers entail.

yeah beating guerrero did nothing for floyds career, not like staying #1 in your division and undefeated does anything for a career

you *******s should stick around. what happened to the rest of ya?

Relax *****.:rofl being undefeated is special. But Floyd beating Rob wasn't exactly a test to his undefeated record. A resume with substance has more merit than a "0" in the losses column.

You should know where *******s are kid....*****s have an uncanny ability to track *******s down like it's their job.

I personally don't mind the fight and will watch it. But he was making it clear to me that he doesn't care about Pacquiao since he's not at the top anymore

post 72, you mentioned sergio and martinez, i probly thought canelo's last name was martinez at that time.

..and with p will, pac couldn't have fought him instead of margo at that time. williams and sergio were in talk of their rematch and eventually fought about the same time as pac and margo.

...but just give up, you don't have any leg to stand on with your claim.

That's how some fans are. Not a fan of the sport, but of a particular team or in this case a boxer. A lot of people only care about the person who is considered the best....but they miss out on so much. To each their own.
