far from being a ward fan, i just laugh at anyone crying about the fouls and completely ignore the boxing clinic ward put on kessler.

Never thought he would beat Dawson but he had a chance and he still has. I still would make him the slight favourite over Abraham. You people overrate wins and losses. Kessler lost to Ward mainly due to styles. Neither Dawson nor Abraham fight like Ward or Calzaghe. They both might beat him but that has nothing to do with the Ward fight.

Kessler got whipped, but his eyes weren't cut from the boxing clinic and the fight wasn't stopped because of it either.

So, Ward's performance was great as long as you ignore the cheating? Is that what you're saying?

1 or 2 head butts could be accidental.

3 head butts would be questionable.

5 head butts is intentional cheating.

And we haven't even talked about low-blows or hitting on the break.

Ward is a hypocritical cheating scum bag of a religious fanatic, and no amount of blind nuthugging will change that. Rules matter. If you think otherwise, you're a fool.

Kessler would never beat Dawson, nor would he have ever beatten Dawson. Too long, too fast, too lefthanded, simply to good.

Anyone who learns how to punch, then run their head straight into Kessler, duck below his balls and punch on the break can beat him.

A guy who delivers ball kicks and brings a pistol could probably beat him too.

He was always limited and has very tangible style problems with fast movers who mix it up. The only difference is his opposition. Dawson would beat any version of Kessler, which matters little because this is the same version. Abraham is closer but i would favor him.

im saying if you ignore the schooling ward put kessler through by out boxing him and take full notice of the fouls than your foolish. and since you have you are a fool, plain and simple.

they're weren't FIVE headbutts, and even if there were kessler had plenty of time to come back and capitalize on ward, 11 rounds to be exact. if ward headbutted every time they got in a clinch, then you can make a case. but seeing as that didn't happen, the headbutts were completely unintentional.

mayb ebecause that didn't happen, just because kessler said it happen doesn't mean it happened. its not abnormal for fighters to make excuses when their getting their ass kicked. ask golota when he quit against tyson.

and no amount of idiocy can change the fact kessler was out-classed, out boxed, out fought, and out manned. facts are facts, ward is a better fighter than kessler and will beat him any day of the week.

na, anyone that knows how to box can beat kessler. kessler just had the luxury of fighting bums that dont bother to move their head his entire career. you can protect a fighter for so long until they have to fight someone that has skills. chavez jr is gonna recieve the same treatment in the near future when he decides to step up in competition.

    Yeah, like Calzaghe.

Kessler does need to learn how to deal with that dirty ****. He was like a deer caught in the headlights.

lost to calazaghe, a fast elusive boxer. beats guys who stand right in front of him.

he needs to learn how to not get repeatedly punched in the face and not rely on his one-two all the time. he needs to change as a fighter, but its too late as you cant teach an old dog new tricks.

These ****ing morons making a **** load of excuses for Kessler. Just go watch the first 3 rounds to see how Ward was easily dealing with Kessler with no fouls.
Kessler got beat by the better man and that's all there is to it.

I can't see Kessler beating either of them on current form. He needs to get his act together. He was awful against Ward, a really sub-par performance. The Froch fight is make or break for him now.
