Does anyone think Marg's may've NOT used Wraps in Cotto 1?

    Margs put some hurt on Cotto in their second fight, even with 1.5 eyes (and not 2 healthy eyes). It's not too outlandish to think he could've hurt Cotto that bad in their first fight with 2 healthy eyes and lots of confidence (he was running over/through folks during his win streak).

    I still believe Margs is guilty until proven innocent, but thinking back to their last fight made me wonder.

    Was he always a cheating ****?

    The only thing what made me think he did was why would he do it for the first time against Mosley?

    I think he had them in the first fight. He was landing soft, muffing looking shots on Cotto in that first fight, and Cotto was busting up. You can tap somebody softly with a hard object and cut them. Those punches Margarito was landing in that second fight didn't seem impactful enough to cause that type of bleeding in my opinion.

    Yes but why was Margs able to bust Cotto up so much in their second fight? When the fight was stopped Cotto was completely gassed and Margs was coming on strong... nobody was happier about that fight being stopped than Cotto.

    No Cotto just has leaky D and has a weak chin, and fades late. Margarito touched it and got the stoppage IMO

    Cotto fought a totally different fight in the rematch.

    I mean it's possible considering how it played out. BUT

    Cotto just didn't put the power in his shots to keep Marg off of him, boxing and moving. Then didn't have chin or stamina to last the fight. Cotto started to take breaks more and more late on and Marg was working hard, and Cotto was getting hit and folded. Simple as.
