Does anyone think Pavlik-De La Hoya might be Oscars farewell fight?

Not a chance in hell. He's not a masochist, and he's not a complete idiot. Pavlik is much too big, too busy, and much too strong. Oscar's looking to fight little guys. He's on the retirement tour. No one over 147, and even that's probably a bit too much of a threat. He prefers JWWs and blown up LWs these days.

"Superman?" Thats RJJ. Trinidad is Flash Gordon. And Toney is the Thing from Fantastic Four. But Oscar? Lets see, "Ballerinaman?"

Oscar wouldn't risk it, nor should he. The guy has been putting himself on the line against the best fighters around him for almost 15 years, the LAST thing he needs to do is take on a 6'2" 26-yr-old middleweight with an 88% KO ratio. It would not end well.

why do people make threads about fights THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN EVER. If Oscar is not willing to fight higher than 154 against TITo who is a bigger star than Pavlik, what makes you think he would go up to 160 against a young up and comer like Pavlik. :huh

No because Hoya could have made that fight already ..I think the highest he's ever going again is 154.

Way to risky for DLH, remember how Strum handled him? He was younger then too, just dosn't belong up there.

Hell no!!! DLH wouldn't go near Pavlik if he had an army of cholo's backing him.
