Does anyone think that Mundine vs Geale is going to be announced soon?

There was no rematch ordered they just made Geale mandatory. Phil Austin even said the judge wasn't intimidated and scored it for Mundine I think. I agree Gealey's gone ahead in leaps and bounds while Mundine has gone backwards. I would rather he didn't fight Mundine but if he did he would have to put his belts on the line.

australians ARE humble. i cant think of a big mouthed aussie sportsman or woman.

mundine is the ONLY high profile aussie athlete with a big mouth i can think of. there has never been a bigger mouth than his. at least, he is the only one who believes his crap and takes himself seriously.

aussies are a humble bunch of people. yanks are big mouthed, just like mundog. it is mundine that needs a lesson in humility.....like the one ottke and wood gave him. it shuts him up for a few months, then he starts gastro via the mouth again.

mundine is a disgrace to his race, family, sport and nation. he shot his mouth off in RL. he shoots his mouth off in boxing.

may allah grant his wish of fighting mayweather....:yep

The decision appealed and reviewed, and an immediate re-match ordered, i know this for a fact. Phil Austin loved it, as more $$$$ for the IBO.
No belts on the line for this fight:deal

    There was a rematch ordered.

A judge was intimidated - sure it may not have affected what he wrote on his scorecard, but the fact remains he was still harassed by a goon.

It was a close fight Phil himself scored it to Mundine by ringside by 2,again on replay then a month later to Gealey. And yeah he vacated rather than face Geale his mandatory but it's worked out better for Daniel. I will always be no.2 behind you brah.:good

After a review by three of their international judges, the International Boxing Organization (IBO) has ordered middleweight world champion Anthony Mundine give former champion Daniel Geale a rematch by 27th February 2010.

Responding to a complaint from Geale, the IBO had three of their senior international judges watch video of the May 27 fight, which Mundine won by split twelve round points decision.

The video review saw two of the IBO judges score the fight for Geale, while the third judge awarded the match to Mundine.

Promoter the Grange Old School Boxing and Geale believe it is unlikely that Mundine will comply with the IBO direction, resulting in him being stripped of the newly won title.

Fair enough. I knew he was made mandatory and Mundine vacated.
