Does anyone think that Pacquiao has a shot against De la hoya?

pac better learn to integrate good lateral movement with his already great bounce in the ring and come in his best condition.
he won't get KOed easy, his chin isn't shitty and forbes took a lot of punches from DLH, pac should be able to hold his chin as well. Pac is offensively ahead of forbes and he should land more punches than forbes did especially to the body.

a little track and field aint bad. But knowing him..he will be tempted to get in a brawl and get himself KD'd in the process. Only then will he follow his gameplan, which is to come in and out as fast as he can and try to avoid getting cornered.

    "the impossible dream"

Even Atlas's shitty luck wont help Pacquiao.

I completely agree with this when it comes to Guzman. I get a little chuckle out of the people who say that he's a "nightmare" against Pac. They say that Guzman's too fast, a defensive master, and just too skilled overall. Completely ignoring the fact that Guzman has not faced ANYONE even REMOTELY close to the level of Pac in terms of speed(Pac is as fast as Guzman), relentlesness, POWER, stamina and activity/workrate. Guzman's feather-fisted attacks doesn't help him either.

As for the thread, I still stick by what I said earlier. Its highly unlikely but if Pac can somehow survive the first 6 rounds(at the very least) without too much damage, then I think he has chance of winning. Because I really see DLH tiring by the 6th or 7th.

MP will beat DLH but it will be close because Manny will feel some power and that may slow him down in the late rounds scoring some rounds for DLH---I say Manny by SD

Speaking of Atlas. Who did he pick in the DLH-Mayweather match? Is he a big fan of Oscar? How does he view Pac as a fighter? Does he always favor Pac in his fights? Because I have never seen him talk about Pac at all.

I think the answers to these questions would give us a clue as to who will Atlas pick in Dec. 6. :yep

I think he picked Pacquiao over Marquez and Diaz over Pacquiao this year.
