As a Hoya fan since '92 I hope he does retire. I rather have the Hoya from the past in memory than these fights of his.

He should fight Margarito or retire imo. He doesnt need this fight. He is becoming a money ***** now. Like he doesnt have enough money.

There's no way Pac will win against Hoya. I'm a big Pac fan but I know he will get KOOOOOOO. That left hook of Hoya will land sometime during the fight and it will not look good. I'll be happy for Pac if the fight does go through because he deserve it, I mean $$$$$$$ wise.

As a Pacquiao fan I am worried about his health. Fighters deserve big money but I think the consequences are too severe in this situation. I hope the fight doesnt go through.

I think he has a shot.

-If Oscar is shot he'll win.

-If Manny improves upon his performance w/ Diaz at THE VERY LEAST this will be a competitive fight.

-Manny is quicker and arguably more accurate than Oscar...so if he could stay on his feet and is the more active fighter he could get a decision

But I don't think it's likely. And if Oscar is prepared mentally/physically for the fight, Manny will have no chance IMO.

I think he has a shot, but not a very big one. If he does pull it off then it'll be a win of legendary proportions for Pac and will all but destroy ODLH's legacy. I'll also have a jolly good laugh.

If Pacquiao struggled with Marquez who is small compared to Oscar what would a blown up welterweight would do to Pacquaio? A KO win for Oscar is the answer.

Thats all part of the ploy! I don't want this fight to happen. If the contract is signed and sealed I'm gonna watch it.

I'm hoping for the upset of the decade victory by pac but logic dictates ODLH will ko or at least win by UD!

    Brutal way??? I don't know about that :D . . . my view?

No matter what . . . Oscar will get his "WIN" . . . but will drag that fight long as it can be . . . and will make it look competitive.

Ending the fight early and brutally is an insult to himself . . . REAL BOXING FANS are already expecting and saying that . . . DLH won't be the one to confirm that and humilate himself.

"Play" might be the wrong word . . . but I just don't see DLH wanting to knock out the smaller guy as early as he can. That's gonna be anti-climactic . . . the more chances for the viewers to shout and cheer . . . the better it will serve it's purpose.

It's suppose to be an exibition game for entertainment . . . right? :D
