Does anyone think that Pacquiao has a shot against De la hoya?

Pacquiao is at max a 140 lb fighter. And he would be matched in size by almost anyone in that weight class and would be a but undersized. His best weight was fighting at 126-130. 135 he is still at the top of his game, but there are many guys who would match up with him physically in terms of power and strength.

147 is just ****ing ridiculous. Thomas Hearns fought at 147, Tito Trinidad fought at 147. Can you imagine Pac fighting them?

This is basically a sealed victory for Oscar. Pacquiao has been hurt before, he wont be able to take Oscars power shots at all. One of ODLHs left hooks is going to spin him around like a top and he going to be leaving the ring unconscious on a stretcher.
Pacquiao is an offensive fighter that comes to his opponent and his defense is good, not great. He is fighting a taller, stronger, and still quick fighter who is a better boxer and has a longer reach and has a great chin. His power isnt going to be anything at 147.
And there is no way he is going to outslick and outbox Oscar. Anyone thinking that is deluded. ODLH may have lost a step, but he still has his legs, and he knows how to use a ring.

This is a monster payday for both of them. Oscar gets to score a huge KO, pull massive PPV numbers, and get a huge fight watched by the entire Philipines.
Manny gets more money than he has ever seen in his life and when he loses there is no shame because he can just say he was WAY out of his best weight class and fighting an elite level fighter.

Win-Win situation for both of them.

 

his power will be non-existent against oscar who gave floyd a good fight, oscars dealt with better skills than manny paquiao ffs.
