Does anyone think tito can hurt roy @170?

Of course he can. Trinidad is a big guy and it's not like Jones has the best whiskers in the business.

I'd be more worried about whether or not he can hit Jones at all. He could hardly throw a single punch against Winky Wright.

IMO. No. I dont think the extra 10lbs is going to help him carry that good of power.

 

i don't think you need that good power. just to land a clean shot. roy has twice the skills though so there is some doubt if tito will land anything.

 

Anyone can land a clean shot, its happened to Jones before, but you have to have some good power. And I doubt Tito will carry it up to 170 + he'll be weighing 180 on fight night most likely.

 

Of course he can hurt Roy, but don't hold your breath.

 

I think Tito can, but maybe in the sense that if he hits Jones cleanly or hits him as a counter.

But glancing blows won't do too much damage on Jones.

 

if he can hit him flush, imo roy goes down. at this point in time his chin is grade a china.

Well let's see...two old shot fighters who were formerly great pawing away at each other.

The question isn't whether or not one can hurt the other, but who the hell would pay to watch them try?

 

No question without a doubt..Tito still has his punch technique and Roy is not some iron chinned 170 pound guy. One good clean shot Roy will have to come to grips with his weak chin..thats pretty much his only weakness. Every fighter has one.

 

If Tito can bench at least 340 then yes!
