Does anyone under 200lbs beat Frazier or Marciano?

Jack Dempsey is the under 200 pounds fighter I would send in to beat both of them.

 

Joe Louis, for one.

A prime Ezzard Charles would beat Marciano, IMO.

 

Cruiserweight Holyfield with room to bulk up to 199 has a fair shot against both. No real weaknesses, great stamina, has the durability to hold up to what they'd bring.

He outlanded Chisora in 9 or 13 rounds, with one being even, and staggered him in the seventh. It was an easy fight that looked ugly, complicated by absurd judging.

Briedis is an excellent fighter.

 

Frazier vs Marciano under 200lbs sounds like a good fight.

 

Neither of them are Joe Frazier at his best and those fights show Usyk struggles with pressure fighters, plus hes got big weakness to body punches Frazier would end him. Those pitter patter punches Usyk does at Heavyweight aren't going to stop Frazier walking right through him.

 

No one comes to my mind. Especially Usyk,
who wouldn't beat either as a heavyweight.

 

Frazier struggled with inferior fighters, too. Everyone has bad fights.

 

Like who ? He had trouble with Bonavena very early in his career who is a rough iron chinned slugger, and lost to Foreman who is one of the hardest hitting Heavyweights of all time.

Theres no evidence to suggest in Frazier's resume that he struggles against a light hitting boxer/mover like Usyk.

Usyk on other hand has struggled against a non top 10 Heavyweight contender who was a pressure fighter, and came close to losing to Breidis who was another pressure fighter.

An ATG swarmer like Frazier is a horrible style match up for a light hitting Heavyweight like Usyk.

 

I think Langford's power and smarts have a good chance at overwhelming both. Certainly moreso than any other fighter under 200 IMO

The past it versions both came incredibly close so at their best it's only logical that they best him.

Dempsey, Johnson, Tunney and Schmeling have a very good chance at beating him, and I reckon you can find more fighters that could theoretically pull it off.

Rocky had his hands full with over the hill light heavies. 180-199lbs prime heavyweights could give him a whole lot of trouble.

He didn't struggle with a non-top ten heavyweight contender. He hasn't struggled with anybody. Again, if you are referring to Chisora, Usyk outlanded him in nine roads with one being even, and staggered him in the seventh. There was no struggle there, except with incompetent judges.

Yeah, Frazier struggled with Bonevena, who was a strapping...5'10"! Usyk twice handled a 6'5" power puncher. So I am not sure where this ruggedness argument is coming form, because Usyk doesn't lose that.

Frazier got a standing eight from Mike Bruce, and was down 11 times in his career. Usyk has never been own.

By the way, I am not saying that Usyk wouldn't have his hands full. Frazier is one of my favorites, But this is a lot more even than you are letting on.
