believe me im not underestimating pacs spirit or skill or heart, matching him in fantasy fights against naz&like is fair enough but margarito would beat every current active ww&pac is yet to fight a top 10 ww,pac WILL win titles in the future just not from tony

You can put these 2 in together a million times and it will always be the same result.a close back and forth battle both men wobbled one man down, gets up to put the other man down type battle.once or twice in a generattion a gatti/ward comes along.this fight needs to happen... its all about timeing.(MONEY) the pac man is on the verge of mainstream mega stardum.i mean outside of indonisia.
a win for JMM over a Hatton would create more money for a truly masive third fight.

fair enough mate,im not knocking pac or you for being a pac fan(im one too) its just with fights as close as jmm-pac they cause alot of heated debate&i tend to get carried away.opinions always differ thats just the way it is.:good

hopefully hatton-pacquiao will be made so we can discuss that, although abit friendlier maybe:D:good

Three times in the first round in their first fight, and your P4P'er couldn't put him away. The result? Marquez gave him a boxing lesson for the majority of the remaining rounds, with a broken nose to boot.

Second fight continued off where Marquez left off in the 1st fight. A beautiful display of counter-punching that left PacMan wondering why he couldn't KO Marquez. Only hiccup Marquez had in that fight was the knockdown. Besides that, Marquez wins a close UD; however, the judges didn't see it that way. Pac fans rejoice knowing that their ONLY boxing star got away with a win he didn't convincingly get on his own. It was like when Tito was announced the winner against DLH. It was a win, but Tito's people and everyone else knew they got away with one.

What Pac fans can't or won't admit is this. He beat a past-his-best Marco Antonio Barrera x2. Yet where in the first fight he overwhelmed him, he couldn't do that in the second fight, which only raised questions as to what would have happened if MAB were in his prime.

Pac lost to and beat a past-his-best Morales. So he is 1-2 against a faded Morales. That further fuels the flames as to the fact that Pac has beaten two faded Mexican warriors. Maybe not shot, but clearly past-their-best days. Pac was entering his prime.

In his prime, Pac may have knocked down a not so worn out Marquez four times, but he showed he can be outboxed and was lucky to escape with a draw and a win.

Pac is a great little fighter and seems to be a humble person, but some of his fans are delusional to think that he could have beaten a prime Barrera or Morales let alone a semi-fresh Marquez. But that is what happens when you only have one great fighter come out of your country only once every 50-60 years.

I would like to see it yes. At 135, I think it's a complete 50-50 again, either man could come out on top, they are both sensational fighters, the top two in the world. Above 135, I think Pacquiao wins by stoppage. I don't believe JMM will carry the extra weight as well as Manny. If Pac makes him come up to 140, he will win.

I think it depends on Mayweather if the fight happens or not. I expect Hatton to be Pac's next fight and I expect Pac to win and win big. So then, it's all about if PBF comes back or not. If he does, it's Pac v PBF in the biggest fight since Whitaker-Chavez in '93. If he doesn't, I think Pac-JMM 3 happens.

It could happen after Pac-PBF anyway. I think both men want to prove who is better h2h before they retire.

I dont think the weight class they will fight in will matter very much.

JMM wont get too affected with the weight gain. He never really needed quick bursts of footspeed.

He was more or less stationary, just doing enough footwork while standing in place, to create better counterpunching angles. That extra weight probably wont affect his handspeed so much, and his punching power wont go down, because he'll still be fighting a guy he fought at 126 and 130.

If JMM fights a career 140 guy, then I would agree that his power would be lower, relatively.

what i like about manny is that he uses every advantage he can possibly take and still keeps evolving as a fighter, focusing in other departments he might of needed work on he is now mastering with flying colors. yes, oscar looked shot that night, but who's to say how oscar would of fallen vs. a cotto or margo? that he did look weight drained he's a grown man that's too bad no excuses, but he did take his ass whoopin like a man. i used to think JMM was a more complete fighter than Pacman, but i think he will always be more tecnical and like manny has brought his speed, power, and stamina to the higher weights with success. this is the fight i'd like to see the most aside from pw-margo, but money talks and like someone mentioned earlier i wouldn't be surprised if manny took on the hitman and floyd if he made his return. i always felt size was never going to be a problem for manny and stylewise he would give oscar problems, but i also feel hatton would of done something similiar to oscar, so the hatton-pacquiao would be interesting to watch. 2 of the sports most exciting fighters in their primes potential for a classic hopefully. both are about the same size, have great speed, and alot of guts. so as much as i'd like pac vs. jmm3 to happen, which i think it will just not anytime soon, i really don't mind pac-hitman happening either.

It's unlikely to happen anytime soon.

It's been done twice, and there's too many other opponents for Pac (and JMM!) that would make more $$$$.
