I'll admit i never followed Arce much, i thought he was too sloppy and it seems too me like hes done. You guys think he has a chance against Donaire tonight?

Shot fighter, this fight is a joke. Looked to be on his way to a stoppage loss against Rojas when he quit there. Watched a couple rounds of his last fight and he looked bad, lunging forward and losing balance often.

donaire is suppose to win, but, ive seen stranger things happen before. heredia is his conditioning coach. as long as he has heredia, he has a decent chance of pulling the upset.

If he can keep it a phone booth fight, he has a better chance. In general, he no chance.

I wish he did,but when he quit not long ago,I can assure you the first thing I thought was not "He's ready for Donaire now"

I like Arce, but the Rojas fight was the writing on the wall for me.:-(

I want to be wrong though.I really do.

Arce has been put through the meat grinder far too many times. Plus I don't think he beats Donaire even in his prime. Arce is a warrior and his fights are entertaining to watch but a face first brawler is not going to beat Donaire. Arce is going to walk into something and go to sleep.

    This.

I love Arce, but his only chance is to trap Donaire in a corner and unload one of his patented flurries. He HAS to stay close, to negate Donaire's main power.

Of course, Donaire knows this, and is a smart fighter. Combine that with his youth / speed advantage, and what chance does Arce really have?

One thing though: I expect this to be Arce's swan song, so he's probably planning to go out on his shield. Expect a furious fight, while it lasts.
