With his attitude i cant see his future brightly, i think that vitali will beat him up to d bloody pulp and we'll never see him again, well maybe wasching our car or serving Burgers in Mcdonald but not in the ring
Arreola doesn't have enough time to be at a good weight for boxing, but he does have enough time to get in shape for the Vitali fight.
He will come in to this fight weighing 260+ give or take a few lbs. Many of Vitali's opponents show up to fight him at their career high weights. And they get the **** beaten out of them until it's either stopped or they quit. Arreola didn't do himself any favors with his lack of dedication to a winning mentality.
From a fitness and health standpoint, I would say that he would need roughly 6 months to adequately prepare. The first 4 months to lose the excess weight, which is considerable, as he needs to weigh around 240 for the fight, and he looked to be at least 300 in the most recent fotos I saw. So for the first 4 months, I would have him a reduced calorie superhealthy diet along with shitloads of calisthenics and daily cardio. The final two months, bring in the sparring partners and long ass sessions on the heavy bags and mits. Basically, the training camp of a lifetime. However, he doesnt have 6 months, he has 7 weeks. I expect him to be overweight, slow, and looking to land a big combo. It will be a brutal slaughter and a highlight performance by Vitali
I actually have a strong feeling that this one is going to get called off. We may see Vitaly fight Oleg Maskaev yet, as they are going to need a late round replacement when Arreola realizes that he very well might be killed.
I hope Arreola takes this fight seriously. He's a fool if he's not. Yes he's young, but the psychological impact of being pummeled into a bloody pulp in front of your homeboys in your own backyard by a 38 year old grandpa can be devastating.
