That's what I think Eddie was hinting at when he was saying how he wanted it to be a huge event, with a packed undercard. Guess if the rumours of David Haye returning on that card are true, plus Kells first defence and Clev/Bellew on the same card then I can see that happening.
Wow I hope not, that is seriously weak unless Brooks opponent is Marquez or Bradley which is not gonna happen. I would think Hearn talking about making a huge event is essential in the lead up to a Khan Brook fight. Brook is still pretty unknown, he fought a fairly dull fight against Porter on American time so many casual fans didn't see. Brook headlining a huge event would actually strengthen his hand with the Khan negotiations so hopefully it's just smart business. Also, read somewhere Cleverly wanted to fight on neutral ground rather than Liverpool.
Nah. Brook will get a soft one and Haye certainly won't be on the card. Bellew-Cleverly is a fun fight for a Saturday Fight Night but not much more than that. They can tell us it's got the needle of Froch-Groves 2 but it's all very forced. Both guys bubbles burst a while ago.
Agree with the above. Great headliner for a Saturday night, but no way should it be on a PPV. Brook will have a soft challenger for his first defense, would be nice to see him go against one of the other top WW's though
