Since the fight is signed on the dotted line I was wondering what ya think about the bhop v Pascal. When it comes to picking off a fighter with one hand bhop is or was the king of it. The question now is does bhop have enough left to take away Pascal right hand, and can he make the fight ugly enough to keep Pascal from letting his hands go.

If the Bhop that fought Kelly shows up Pascal has no chance, but I doubt that guy comes into the ring, however I'm done betting against Bhop cause he proves me wrong time and time again.

One more thing I haven't seen that many Pascal fights so if I'm sleeping on him please post some good fights of his

He has most of his fights on youtube so go check them out!!! Well, i think b-hop can beat pascal because pascal doesnt have a jab like taylor and cant continue throwing punches like calzaghe. Pascal take many rests during the fight and hopkins will be able to take advantage of that. I cant say he will win on the scorecards cause he is in canada and he isnt as flashy as pascal. Good fight and i cant wait for it to happen. Go hops!!!!

Pascal is unorthodox and kind of goofy, and that's the kind of fighter I think Nard can still beat. Plus Pascal's chin isn't the greatest, I just wasn't that impressed with him. Could be a nice soft spot for Bernard to get another big win and maybe get out of the game if he's smart.

It depends if B-Hops age has caught up with him. B-Hop usually has a cycle of getting a big win then sleeping for a couple of fights then his naysayers begin critisizing him which I believe helps motivate him. His last couple of fights have been **** so I hope he's serious for this fight. I personally can never tell with Bernard but I'm a huge fan. I hope hope he puts on another Pavlik esque performance.

You hit on a good point there. Pascal fights on his emotion a lot of the time, which is not good when your fighting against Hopkins, cause he uses illegal tactics to frustrate you, which leads to you feeling aggrieved cause he is able to get away with it, thus leaving you feeling hard done by, sometimes seeking retribution, which only gets you away from what you should be doing, which results in him breaking up your rhythm, he has done this his whole career.

Another thing with Pascal, yes he has advantages in speed and youth, but he is not a smart fighter imo, infact i would say he is a bit wreckless, naive at times, which does not bode well when fighting someone as savvy as Hopkins who can negate your physical advantages with your naivety

Something that Pascal does have to cling onto, is the fact that Hopkins reflexes looked poor against Ornelas, which might suggest age really is starting to catch up with him, more so now than ever.

So basically what you're saying is that Pascal has nothing to gain from beating Hopkins.

I like this post, but don't read to much into the Ornales fight. Enrique Ornales is a Golden Boy fighter who needed money. Hopkins was looking for a stay busy fight. Hopkins/Ornales was a paid sparring session that just happened to get on TV.

It still amazes me how many people do not have a clue on Pascal as a fighter.

They dont have a clue on his style, development, chin, mentality, ring IQ.

The mjaority of Pascal articles are cringeworthy because the posters are not informed.

Pascal is underrated on here even though you'd expect him to be overrated after beating Dawson.

The big question is Hopkins and how much he has lost in reflexes, speed and stamina. I mean the guy is going to be 46 soon!!! He obviously has the edge in skills but Pascal has the speed, youth and awkward style to keep Hopkins weary. Even if Hopkins sees the opening, will his body react? I mean his style is made to be age friendly but he still had good reflxes and hand speed to do what he did.

Pascal's right hand is his better punch.

I don't think he has enough to take a decision in Canada.
